Pat O'Reilly made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Fairfield got a massive performance out of Donavan Luu, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-6. Desten Torrence was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
