Sonoraville has gone 8-2 against Ringgold recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Ringgold's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Sonoraville hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Phoenix's pitchers stepped up to hand Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe a 13-0 shutout on Thursday. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Ansley Hall made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Lila Mullinax looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Cadence Mulkey was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. Peyton Angel was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
Sonoraville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .565. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Ringgold couldn't beat Rockmart on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Tigers lost 13-5 to the Yellowjackets. The Tigers have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Katy Haddock was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
Sonoraville's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Ringgold, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
Ringgold's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sonoraville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .342. It's a different story for Ringgold, though, as they've only averaged .212. Will they be able to contain Sonoraville's hitters?
