The Hart Indians will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Roosevelt Mustangs on February 14th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hart walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Braves a 2-0 shutout on Saturday. That's two games straight that Hart has won by exactly two goals.
Meanwhile, Roosevelt had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals), and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They skirted past Harvard-Westlake 2-1. Two seems to be a good number for Roosevelt as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
 Mia Goettsche and
Juliette Gomez, who scored both of Roosevelt's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 20 so far this season.
Hart's victory bumped their record up to 20-2-2. As for Roosevelt, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4-1.
