Germantown Friends waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Frankford 53-24 at home. Germantown Friends has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Frankford's loss came despite strong showings from Emma Raif and Nakyra Harris. Raif scored five points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Harris scored two points.
Germantown Friends' victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Frankford, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Germantown Friends will take on Shipley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sankofa Freedom Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
