Edward Chumley Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Anna was led to victory by Edward Chumley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Chumley rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.3). He is becoming a predictor of Anna's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Lovejoy picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jacob Richard Janecek. Nobody could stop Richard Janecek as he threw for 230 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
On the year, Richard Janecek has thrown 23 touchdowns while averaging 237.7 passing yards per game.

A Season-Best Performance from DJ Shelton Leads Emerson over Anna
Sadly, DJ Shelton posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Emerson over Anna on Friday. Shelton threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 54 yards.
For the year, Shelton has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 169.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 32.98 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 100.05 passer rating.

Walnut Grove Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Hayes Hackney
Hayes Hackney's big game helped extend Walnut Grove's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Liberty had no answer to Hackney as he threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. Hackney has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
Walnut Grove's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Hackney will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Anna on Friday.

Jaylen Butler Delivers Electric Effort Vs Memorial
Thanks in part to Jaylen Butler, Denison said goodbye to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Butler was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
Denison's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Butler and Denison will head out on the road to face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
