Winning is just a little bit easier when  you outrebound your opponent 13 to 3 on the offensive boards, a fact the Blackhawk Cougars proved  on Saturday. They secured a  40-35 W over Greensburg Salem. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Blackhawk.
 Leading Blackhawk to victory were  Alena Fusetti and  Andrea Kinger.  Fusetti  scored 15 points, while  Kinger  scored 10 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Fusetti has scored at least 25% of Blackhawk's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Piper Romigh, who  scored 9 points.
 Several Golden Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Kenzi Span, who  scored 8 points.  Ashlan Price was another key contributor,  scoring 9 points.
 Blackhawk's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Greensburg Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blackhawk's road trip will continue as they head out to face McKeesport at 7:00  p.m.  on December 5th. As for Greensburg Salem, they will  challenge Connellsville at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
