Emma Rangeloff made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up seven earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). Rangeloff was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Hallie Mottl was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
