Saturday just wasn't the day for the Alief Taylor Lions's offense. They were the victim of a rough 4-0 loss at the hands of Strake Jesuit on Saturday. Alief Taylor has not had much luck with Strake Jesuit recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Alief Taylor's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2-2. As for Strake Jesuit, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2-2.
Alief Taylor will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Pearland at 7:10 p.m. Pearland is coming into the contest with four straight victories on the road, meaning Alief Taylor will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Strake Jesuit, they will face off against Alief Hastings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Strake Jesuit is facing Alief Hastings at the right time seeing as Alief Hastings is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
