The Temecula Prep Patriots won the last time they faced the California Military Institute Rough Riders, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Temecula Prep enjoyed a cozy 53-35 win over California Military Institute. The win made it back-to-back wins for Temecula Prep.
Temecula Prep found their leader in underclassman Abby Bennett, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Zylah Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Temecula Prep has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for California Military Institute, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Santa Rosa Academy the next time they take the court. Temecula Prep will head out to face Santa Rosa Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while California Military Institute will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
