Northview came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let the Lithonia Bulldogs on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Friday.

Northview got a massive performance out of Daniel Tompkins, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Tompkins has become a key player for Northview: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Aryan Hegde, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Northview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Northview's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Lithonia, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will square off against Marist at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lithonia, they will welcome Tucker at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lithonia is facing Tucker at the right time seeing as Tucker is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
