Coastal Academy's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Del Lago Academy Firebirds a 2-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Stingrays: when they faced off against the Firebirds back in January, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Sunday McDuffee was the driving force of Coastal Academy's attack as she scored both of Coastal Academy's goals, bringing her season total up to 14 goals.

Coastal Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Del Lago Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7.

As of now, neither Coastal Academy nor Del Lago Academy have any future games scheduled.
