Troy's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Esperanza Aztecs a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Troy's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Esperanza, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Troy beat the Aztecs by a score of 3-0 on Thursday.
