The Fairbury Jeffs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 34-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Superior. Fairbury has struggled against the Wildcats recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Evelyn Timmons and Micah Friesen certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Timmons scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Friesen almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Fairbury has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Superior, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairbury will take on the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Superior, they will be playing at home against the Redmen on Monday.
