Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Blessed Trinity

Blessed Trinity won against Marist on Wednesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Titans beat the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-8. The Titans' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Chelsea Lewis, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. Allie Nevle was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Blessed Trinity kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sprayberry only managed nine hits.

Blessed Trinity's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sprayberry, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blessed Trinity will challenge Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sprayberry, they will head out to square off against Paulding County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
