Faith Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 78-59 victory over the Weed Cougars on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on 20 straight.
It was another big night for Lauren Harris, who shot 9-for-16 from deep and dropped a double-double with 44 points and 17 boards. The game was her 11th in a row with at least 23 points. Presley Berry was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds.
Faith Christian pushed their record up to 28-2 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.3 points. As for Weed, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-7.
