After two games on the road, Baldwin is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Kiski Area Cavaliers at 2:45 p.m. on December 29th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Baldwin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against Taylor Allderdice by a score of 76-63. The win was all the more spectacular given Baldwin's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while Taylor Allderdice is ranked 13th).
Meanwhile, Kiski Area came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 53-45 victory over Neighborhood Academy.
Baldwin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Kiski Area, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Baldwin skirted past Kiski Area 41-39 when the teams last played back in December of 2016. Does Baldwin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kiski Area turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
