Laurel-Concord-Coleridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mallory Eriksen, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rena Rasmussen, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for Pierce, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Catholic on Thursday. Cedar Catholic is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. Pierce will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Aquinas on January 4th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Aquinas is ranked 121st, while Pierce is ranked 107th).
