Basketball Recap: Yough Piles Up the Points Against Frazier

Yough lost to Frazier back in December of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Yough Cougars breezed by the Frazier Commodores to the tune of 53-22. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Frazier's loss came despite strong showings from Allie Yauch and Malana Burton. Yauch posted eight points, while Burton had seven points and ten rebounds.

Yough's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-5. As for Frazier, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

Yough has already played their next contest, a 30-26 victory against Ringgold on the 23rd. Frazier has also already played their next game (against Ellis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
