They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Bellevue East Chieftains on Tuesday. For the Wolverines, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 victory the Chieftains walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
Alea Wegner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks.
