While losing is never fun, Making Waves Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1023rd, while the Cougars are ranked 200th).
Leading Cornerstone Christian to victory were Pamela-Joyce Allen and Mecca Alexander. Allen dropped a double-double on 39 points and 12 rebounds, while Alexander went 8 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 44 points and 5 assists. Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Making Waves Academy will take on the Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. California Crosspoint has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7.
