Scott struggled with assists on Friday (the Indians had 16 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Scott was beaten by the Indians 68-38.
Scott's defeat came about despite a quality game from Kelsey Harper, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Haven Tomblin, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Scott struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Point Pleasant got the win against the Eagles on Monday by a conclusive 59-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Point Pleasant.
Scott's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Point Pleasant, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9.
Scott and the Big Blacks were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but the Skyhawks came up empty-handed after a 47-46 defeat.
