In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks basketball team scored a good 44-30 triumph over the Scott Skyhawks.

In their next game, the Big Blacks meet the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV) in a Freelance match, on Monday, February 12. Point Pleasant will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record.

With the defeat, Scott moves to 7-12 on the year. The Skyhawks travel to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV) to meet the Tigers in a Cardinal match on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 10-7. Chapmanville Regional lost 64-56 in their recent non-league match against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
