The Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) basketball nipped the visiting Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV), 47-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Big Blacks (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Calhoun was tipped by Gilmer County (Glenville, WV), 72-20, in a league test.

The Skyhawks now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a Cardinal test on Friday, December 15. Scott will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 65-33 non-league win over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-0.
