Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shiprock). In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 19-18 victory over the Crownpoint Eagles. Shiprock can attribute much of their success to Blake Begay, who threw for 132 yards and two TDs on only 12 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Those two passing touchdowns gave Begay a new career-high.
