Drew and Gateway are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Dragons will welcome the Gators at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Drew, who comes in off a win.
Drew barely beat San Francisco Waldorf the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dragons never let the Wolverines get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kyle Ebrado made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Drew is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-6 otherwise. Ebrado was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Magellan David, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jonas Tobener, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Drew always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Gateway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Marin Academy, falling 10-0.
Drew has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
Drew beat Gateway 14-10 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
