Camila Alcaraz was a one-man wrecking crew for University Pathways Medical Magnet as she scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Alcaraz has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Benitez, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Manual Arts had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 54-21 victory over Animo Bunche at home.
The win made it two in a row for University Pathways Medical Magnet and bumps their season record up to 9-16. As for Manual Arts, they pushed their record up to 5-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
