Holdingford gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They breezed past the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders to the tune of 42-7. The Huskers haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Holdingford and St. Cloud Cathedral will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Huskers will challenge rival Royalton at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, St. Cloud Cathedral is set to square off against their familiar foe Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
