Several Colonials players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaiden Kerkulah, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Anjali Maddipatla was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Mount Vernon, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Yorktown at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Yorktown has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Mount Vernon will be home for the holidays to greet West Potomac at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
