Baseball Recap: Central Fellowship Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Central Fellowship Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Trinity Christian Crusaders, falling 14-2. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 13-5 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was George Bassett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Those three hits gave Bassett a new career-high. Matthew Albritton was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Trinity Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Trinity Christian beat Central Fellowship Christian Academy by a score of 14-1 on Thursday.
