The Brashear Bulls posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Nazareth Prep 54-14 at home.
Brashear's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ra'Nyah Morris, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morris has scored all season. Ariana Sherrill was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Brashear's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Nazareth Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Brashear won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Carrick at 3:15 p.m. on January 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Carrick is ranked 564th, while Brashear is ranked 578th). Nazareth Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Neighborhood Academy at 3:00 p.m. on January 25th.
