Softball Recap: Archer Wins Going Away Against Grayson

Archer won the last time they faced Grayson and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 12-4 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Archer's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Grayson, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archer will challenge Newton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Grayson, they will face off against Grovetown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
