The Riverdale Cowboys will head out on the road to face off against the Kings Christian Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Riverdale got the win against Laton by a conclusive 41-16. The win made it back-to-back wins for Riverdale.
Riverdale found their leader in underclassman Valeria Olguin, who scored 15 points. Karen Ayala was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Meanwhile, Kings Christian blew past Riverdale, posting a 37-10 victory on the road. The victory was just what Kings Christian needed coming off of a 55-15 defeat in their prior contest.
Riverdale's win bumped their season record to 2-3 while Laton's defeat dropped theirs to 0-2.
