Mira Loma's and Center's match on Thursday was close at halftime, but Mira Loma turned on the heat in the second half with three goals. The Mira Loma Matadors never let the Center Cougars onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Matadors, who have now won three games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Center with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emily Negrete-Quintero, Isabella Lizarde Torres, Chloe Santos, and Reyhana Rezai.

Mira Loma's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Center, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

After both having extra time off, Mira Loma and Oakmont will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. One thing working in Oakmont's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
