On Saturday, High Tech CV came up short against Coronado and fell 34-27.
Selena Herrera continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Coronado, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Herrera has scored at least a third of Coronado's points. Another player making a difference was Virginia Ryan, who scored ten points.
High Tech CV's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Coronado, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High Tech CV will take on Ocean View Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ocean View Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Thursday. As for Coronado, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Clairemont at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Clairemont is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
