The Whitehall-Yearling Rams lost against the Buckeye Valley Barons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Whitehall-Yearling was beaten by Buckeye Valley 64-28. Whitehall-Yearling has not had much luck with Buckeye Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Among those leading the charge was Ella Hazelrigg, who scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Lina Wagner, who scored 11 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Whitehall-Yearling's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Buckeye Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Whitehall-Yearling will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Bexley at 6:00 p.m. Bexley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Buckeye Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Columbus School for Girls at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
