Kennedy is 0-5 against West Park since April of 2025 but things could change on Friday. Joey Abilez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Diego Avalos-Daniels was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, West Park made sure to put some runs up on the board against Woodcreek on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Timberwolves with a sharp 12-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.
Mason Zobel made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Ryan Alemi was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ethan Silva, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for West Park, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.
