On Tuesday, Cypress was beaten by Fairmont Prep 68-33. Cypress has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Centurions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lauryn Nakamura, who scored 8 points.
Cypress now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Fairmont Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Cypress will square off against Woodbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodbridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cypress in California (Woodbridge is ranked 54th, while Cypress is ranked 230th). Fairmont Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Portola at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. One thing working in Portola's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
