Stringer is 0-7 against Leake County since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Stringer Red Devils on the road again  and play against the Leake County Gators at 6:00  p.m.  on January 23rd. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Friday, Stringer earned a  43-32 win over Mount Olive. The  win was just what Stringer needed coming off of a  57-25 defeat in their prior  contest.
 Leake County posted their biggest  win yet this season on Monday. They really took it to Mississippi School for the Deaf for the full four quarters, racking up a  72-23 victory at home. The  win was just what Leake County needed coming off of a  47-20 loss in their prior  match.
 Stringer's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Leake County, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.
 Stringer took a serious blow against Leake County  in their previous meeting  back in January of 2020, falling  74-46. The  match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Stringer was down  36-13.
