 Hayden Younger tossed a big game,   tossing five innings while giving up  three earned runs off only  two  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Trenton Carter was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was  Cole Milburn, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
Rogers' win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Ponaganset, their record now sits at 9-11.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogers will face off against Middletown at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Ponaganset, they will head out to  face off against Johnston  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Chieftains are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
