They had just enough and edged Los Angeles Leadership Academy out 17-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Smidt Tech also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Smidt Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Los Angeles Leadership Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Smidt Tech will head out on the road to square off against Jordan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Smidt Tech comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Los Angeles Leadership Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Collins Family at 3:00 p.m. on February 2nd. The timing isn't great for Los Angeles Leadership Academy: they have been struggling with ten straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Collins Family has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
