Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carson). They blew past The Webb Schools Gauls 60-19 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Colts considering their 21-point performance the game before.

Despite the loss, The Webb Schools still got an impressive performance from Pristine Thomas, who posted eight points along with 19 boards and five steals. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season. Chijioke Mgbeke was another key player, putting up five points.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for The Webb Schools, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-10.

Carson will welcome Rancho Dominguez at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for The Webb Schools, they will venture away from home to take on San Gabriel Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
