Evan Moreno's Big Game Leads Robinson over Lorena
Starting off the list is Robinson's Evan Moreno, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Moreno rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
The win (which was Robinson's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Moreno and Robinson are taking a road trip to square off against Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jamarion Vincent stepped things up a notch to give Connally the 'W'. Vincent showed up in a big way, rushing for 164 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (106.7). He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending two passes.
For the season, Vincent has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 60.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 35.33 rushing yards per game.

Jabarie Thornton Delivers Best Effort of Season
La Vega was led to victory by Jabarie Thornton, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Thornton picked up 161 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The victory got La Vega back to even at 3-3. Thornton and La Vega will be playing at home against China Spring on Friday.
