The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) and the host Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX), witnessed Robinson's football squad wallop Lorena by a tally of 41-6.

The Rockets (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Connally (Waco, TX). The Cadets enter the 4A-2 Region III District 12 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Connally crushed China Spring (China Spring, TX), 26-23, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Leopards battle the Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) in a 4A-2 Region III District 12 contest, on Friday, October 18. Lorena will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 35-14 league loss to La Vega (Waco, TX).
