Mission Valley is 1-6 against Rossville since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Vikings will head out to take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Mission Valley didn't have too much trouble with Cair Paravel as they won 21-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Jake Mills produced another solid performance rushing for 76 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 157 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 76 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rossville). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-0 win over Maranatha Christian Academy. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.
Mission Valley better keep an eye on Canann Mitchell. He was instrumental in Rossville's win, throwing for 155 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 53 yards and one score.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run Cameron Miller was Mitchell's top target, picking up 89 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Rossville, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jack Donovan, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
One reason for the win was Rossville's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Lakin Gentry and Creed Wood, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Mission Valley's record is now 3-1. As for Rossville, their record now sits at an identical 3-1.
Mission Valley was taken down by Rossville 43-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
