In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katie Wrigley, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Bodhi Venturi, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
Pace Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Pace Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games.
