Bishop Union's defense stepped up to hand Frazier Mountain  a   5-0 shutout  on Thursday.  Brooke Taylor was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.
 Meanwhile, Mammoth narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Kern Valley  1-0. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by  just one  goal.
 Bishop Union pushed their record up to 12-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 28  goals over those four  matchups. As for Mammoth, their record is now 6-3-3.
 Bishop Union beat Mammoth by a goal  when the teams last played  back in December of 2024, winning  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bishop Union since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
