The Cupertino Pioneers lost against the Prospect Panthers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Cupertino was dealt a 48-14 defeat at the hands of Prospect. Cupertino has not had much luck with Prospect recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Sadie Slaughter was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 14 points along with 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Japneet Dhillon, who scored 7 points.
Cupertino's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Prospect, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Cupertino will face off against Clovis East at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prospect, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Overfelt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
