Devine is 2-8 against Pleasanton since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warhorses / Arabians will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Devine came out on top against Carrizo Springs on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Warhorses / Arabians took their matchup against the Wildcats 8-4. The game was the first time the Warhorses / Arabians have beaten the Wildcats on their field since April 4, 2023.
Alejandro Ramirez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gerardo Villasenor, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Oropeza, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Pleasanton had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Wildcats 11-1. Considering the Eagles have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Elijah Haren and Braysen Stevens did most of the damage at the plate: Haren went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Stevens went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Woodlee, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Pleasanton lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Pleasanton's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Devine, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Devine couldn't quite finish off Pleasanton in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 and fell 3-1. Can the Warhorses / Arabians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
