If Prep Charter were riding high off their 41-21 takedown of the Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Prep Charter took a 41-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Masterman. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prep Charter has scored all season.
Jocelyn Goldstein was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds for Masterman. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Goldstein has scored at least a third of Masterman's points. Sophia Brunelli was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five steals.
Prep Charter's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Masterman, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prep Charter will take on Belmont Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Masterman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Olney at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Olney will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 480th, while Masterman is ranked 85th).
