Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Los Angeles CES Unicorns walked away with it. They had just enough and edged the Knights out  2-1. The  win was some much needed relief for Los Angeles CES as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 Alyssa Romano and 
 Angie Contreras, who scored both of Los Angeles CES's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of five so far this season.
 Los Angeles CES's win bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Sherman Oaks CES, their defeat  ended a ten-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-2.
 Los Angeles CES will head out on the road to  face off against  Cleveland at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Sherman Oaks CES does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
